Maria is a music educator in the Hoboken Public School District, where she has grown the string program from a handful of students to reach over 90% of grade eligible students. In 2018, Maria was recognized as Salvatore R. Calabro School's Teacher of the Year. As a musician, Maria has toured Europe with All American Youth in Concert, and has performed at venues including Count Basie Theater, the Cathedral of St. Matthew and the Basilica of the National Shrine in Washington, D.C., St. Paul’s Cathedral and Canterbury Cathedral in the UK, St. Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and Carnegie Hall.
